Job Search Tool
Sleek Sleek Board. Board.
Job application tracker. Paste a posting, or a whole internship list from GitHub, and it pulls in every job, drops the ones that rule out sponsorship, sorts them by deadline, and checks your resume against each one.
About this project
Applying for internships is a lot of work, and every tool I tried added admin of its own. In Notion and in spreadsheets I typed in each job by hand and moved it along myself. Jobright is great at finding jobs and moving applications along, but its tracker only let me mark a job as applied or not applied. An application I’d left halfway had nowhere to go, and marking it not applied meant forgetting I’d started it.
With SleekBoard, keeping track stopped being a second job. My time goes into the applications themselves, nothing I’ve started slips through the cracks, and every resume I send is tuned to the posting it’s for. It’s the one place I track everything. It was also a chance for me to experiment with the MERN stack. MongoDB in particular.
